The owner of Gasthaus Weisses Lamm called me today and appologized profusely about the behaviour of her waitress. She invited our group to return to her restaurant where she would be pleased to greet us personally and invite us for a bottle of wine.

I was incredibly pleased with this generous gesture. The owner/manager was very friendly and sincere.

It just goes to show that critzism can indeed be a positive thing. The owner/manager assured me that the waitress has been a hardworking and dependable employee. I am certain then that she will learn from this and be better able to cope with complaints in the future!

The sovereignty she exhibited allowed both her guest and her employee to keep their dignity. Perfect.

We will be back to Weisses Lamm.
